In its 2023-24 Sustainability Report, Natco Pharma Limited detailed its sustainability progress and set ambitious future goals. Currently sourcing 25.8% of its electricity from renewable sources, Natco plans to enhance this to 35% by 2035. The company also commits to achieving carbon neutrality across all operations by 2050, emphasizing responsible business practices, employee safety, and community welfare.
These commitments are essential not only to address climate challenges but also to align with global sustainability standards. Technical Focus
India's renewable energy sector is rapidly expanding, with over 175 GW capacity as of 2024. Natco's report also highlights key achievements in waste management, with 90.87% of total waste recycled and zero waste sent to landfills at its Mekaguda facility.
